Meet Namrita

Hi, I’m Namrita!

I’m a New Jersey native with a day job in sports marketing who’s always dreaming about her next trip. I started this blog as a way to share my travel adventures with my loved ones; I never thought it could reach complete strangers who were also interested in navigating the world as a vegan. I went plant-based mid-2022 but was vegetarian for about six years before that.

One of the questions I get asked is: “Isn’t it hard to travel when you’re a vegan?”

And the answer is a resounding no! I’m a more conscious traveler because I went plant-based. I try not to leave anything behind, and I work harder to explore new foods, new cultures, and new experiences. Honestly, I didn’t really start traveling until my outlook completely changed. Now, the adventures I take touch every aspect of my life.

On this blog, I integrate my passions for travel, veganism, sustainability, and adventure to demonstrate that changing your diet doesn’t require sacrifice. It simply opens up an entirely new universe of possibilities.

Travel makes us happy, makes us feel alive, and makes us never want to return home to the mundane lives we live by gritting our teeth and suffering through long commutes and routines. I want to see and experience as much of the world as I can before I crumble to dust.

So, I’m Namrita and it’s nice to meet you. Whether you’re at the very beginning of your travel journey or you’re a seasoned voyager, thanks for stopping by and joining me on the ultimate journey: life! And if you’re not vegan, welcome! I hope that my content resonates with you, too.

You can find me on my social channels (@thisisntnamrita): Instagram, Twitter/X, and Bluesky. I also share my vegan desserts on Instagram.
