As far as vegan restaurants and food go, Las Vegas usually isn’t at the top of the list for vegan-friendly destinations. Don’t let that fool you, however: when I lived in Vegas a few years ago (granted, only for a few months), I ate incredibly well and had no trouble finding vegan or vegan-friendly restaurants. Though it’s not as frequented as a tourist destination as it used to be, it’s still a great long-weekend destination. My brother and I have talked about going on back just for a few days, simply to get Greek food from Stephanos’s in Henderson again. Even though I wasn’t 100% plant-based back then, these are a few vegan restaurants in Las Vegas I would go back to if I ever visited.

Tarantino’s Vegan
Vegan Italian food isn’t the easiest to find, so you NEED to check out Tarantino’s Vegan. Located in Spring Valley, they veganize classic Italian dishes, like crab cakes, lasagna, gnocchi, pizzas, and so much more, including this vegan chick’n parmesan and Caesar salad on the left. It was so good, I’m STILL trying to figure out how they made the vegan chick’n taste like that. I highly recommend adding this restaurant to your list!
The Modern Vegan
A Vegas classic and voted the best vegan restaurant in Vegas (according to their website), The Modern Vegan serves up 100% plant-based versions of American classics, and diner favorites. Their menu includes a full breakfast, including buttermilk pancakes, French toast, veggs Benedict, chicken and waffles, and more. But you can also get so many other classic sandwiches, burgers, and wraps, like the Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches and a bacon chick’n ranch wrap. They also have fish tacos, pasta dishes, and a whole range of desserts. I’d choose the buffalo mac and cheese, if I had to choose, but there are a plethora of options for everyone, vegans and non-vegans alike.
Crossroads Kitchen
Crossroads Kitchen was founded in Los Angeles in 2013, but didn’t open its Las Vegas location until nearly a decade later. It’s an ideal spot for brunch (they have a buffet!) or dinner, with a full bar and cocktail menu, making it perfect for any night out before you hit the Strip. Their brunch menu features classics like French toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs, and more, and even has a live pasta station. The dinner menu includes dishes like whipped feta, Moroccan cigars, and more, with tons of classic pasta dishes and pizzas for entrees. They have tons of sides and desserts to choose from, and protein options if that’s what you’re looking for, including house-made Italian sausage. Their menu does change seasonally, so check it before you go. Reservations are strongly recommended. Brunch buffets cost $48 USD for adults, $22 for children aged five to 12, and are free for children four and under.

Chef Kenny’s Vegan Dim Sum
Chef Kenny is a vegan Vegas legend. You can’t visit Vegas and not dine at his restaurant. He used to have a second one, but now you can try his delicious, authentic Japanese cuisine at Chef Kenny’s Vegan Dim Sum. If you’re looking for vegan dim sum, sushi, and more, this is your spot. To the right, you can see the Spicy Pad Thai noodle (a chef’s specialty) and General Tso’s vegan chicken, both of which were delicious. However, the vegan shrimp in the Pad Thai really threw me off, and I had to pick them out because it was jarring. You really can’t go wrong with anything on this menu, though.
Daikon Vegan Sushi
If you’re looking for another vegan sushi and plant-based Japanese cuisine option, Daikon Vegan Sushi is a must. They have two locations. Their menu features a variety of soups, salads, musubi, sushi rolls, nigiri, and entrees like tantanmen and katsu curry. They also have a few dessert options, including a black sesame cheesecake. I would honestly just try a crap ton of sushi. Truth be told, I did not like sushi before I transitioned to a plant-based diet. Something about raw fish did not sit right with me, but vegan sushi is incredible and has come a long way in recent years.

Tacotarian
Vegas has no shortage of plant-based Mexican options (I’m looking at you, Nacho Daddy), but Tacotarian is at the top of the list. Voted the best plant-based taqueria in the country, Tacotarian has options for all. Their menu has a wide variety of antijitos, soups and salads, tacos (obviously), and more, and it even offers weekend brunch. I don’t remember which tacos I ordered at the time (it’s been a few years), but I remember not being the biggest fan, but I do think that was because of the vegan cheese and the fact that I took out instead of dining in-house. I would absolutely give this another try, because I think their food is great overall.
Garden Grill
Market vendor turned brick-and-mortar restaurant Garden Grill, now in Summerlin, serves up classic American comfort food with some gluten-free and soy-free options. Try the Carne Asada fries and the blackened chick’n sandwich. Their menu is small, but offers great options, and don’t forget to round off your meal with a dipped soft-serve ice cream cone. As of this publication, they are open Wednesday to Sundays.
Plant Power Fast Food
This popular vegan fast-food chain was founded in Southern California a decade ago and opened its first location outside the state in Vegas a few years ago. Plant Power Fast Food is changing the world, one burger at a time, and has perfected plant-based fast food. While I haven’t dined at the Las Vegas location, I have ordered food from one of the California locations. I thoroughly enjoyed the Nashville hot ‘chicken’ sandwich with fries and ‘chicken’ nuggets, with a side of their secret sauce. The fries and nuggets were also great, and the sandwich was as messy as it should have been. They also have beef-based burgers, wraps, wings, carne asada fries, and desserts, which include duplicate McFlurries, sundaes, and milkshakes. I highly recommend this if you’ve ever looking for a quick bite.
VeggiEAT
This Asian vegan restaurant was founded in 2017 and is located just outside Vegas proper in Henderson (and has a second location in Sedona). Their menu is Asian-inspired and has a range of dishes, from soups and salads to noodles and more. Their signature dishes include Peking duck, sesame chicken, walnut shrimp, and salt n pepper tofu. They also have a few desserts, as well as Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea.
Veggy Street
Also located in Henderson, Veggy Street has a long menu with a variety of options. Try the carne asada chili cheese fries, Nashville fried chick’n mac sandwich, the poppers, and the parmesan yucca fries. You can also get a pair of churros for dessert! They are open seven days a week, from 11AM to 9PM.
Smash Me Baby
If you’re looking for a late-night option after you’ve partied on the strip, check out Smash Me Baby, which is takeout or delivery only, but open until 1AM. You can get a smashed truffle burger, street tacos, a patty melt, and more, plus a side of potato chips, fries, or nuggets. Don’t forget the secret sauce!
So, if you’re traveling to Las Vegas for a football game or a bach trip as a vegan, you will have a wide range of options, whether it’s at vegan restaurants or not. Even if you’re unable to get to a vegan restaurant, so many restaurants in Vegas have vegan options. Looking for more vegan options in Vegas? Check out this blog post.
